Mr. Mundy joined LL Funds in February 2016. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Strike Acceptance, Tammac, Billd, Renew Finance, Mission Lane, Leif and Guardinex, all portfolio companies of LL Funds. Mr. Mundy is a senior financial services executive with over 20 years of experience building/growing lending businesses in consumer finance, banking, and strategy consulting. Previously, he served as President of the $55 billion Mass Affluent Card business at JP Morgan Chase with over $2 billion of pre‐tax income. Prior to JPMC, he was EVP and Head of Bankcards for HSBC-USA achieving over 20% consistent YOY growth to reach over $20 billion in assets with over $1 billion in pre‐tax income. He grew HSBC’s auto finance business direct‐to‐consumer line from less than $200 million in volume to over $1 billion in volume within two years. Mr. Mundy has participated in start‐up ventures in fintech, growing a direct‐to‐consumer venture from a handful of people to a team of over 200 and $700 million in origination. He began his business career as a strategy consultant with McKinsey and Company. He earned an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania where he graduated as a Palmer Scholar.
